As a Customer Care Specialist, everyday there will be a wide variety of questions presented to you. Answering these questions will require that you draw on your superior listening skills. It is important that you have a solution-oriented mindset and can see the bigger picture in the customers’ needs. If this sounds like you, keep on reading!

What you will do:

  • You’ll strive to make all customers happy, which means answering their questions through the phone, email and chat, providing them with information and education on our payment platform. You’ll act as the “voice of our customer” – you’ll always be listening and sharing their feedback across the organization.
  • You’ll participate in meetings with the rest of the team to discuss things like product updates, bug fixes, and project statuses.
  • You will constantly reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and how you can do better; we will all learn as one. 
  • You will work as part of a team to provide proactive experiences – you will regularly make suggestions and implement these suggestions. You’ll focus on documentation, maintaining detailed notes of your interactions, documenting problems, and solutions for other Specialists to use. You’ll interface with many areas of our business in a truly collaborative fashion.
  • You’ll work in a noisy, busy, high-energy environment. As with any customer care role, you will be taking lots of phone calls and answering tickets. You will also have the opportunity to take ownership of your work and be a critical part of our Victoria, BC operations.

The Customer Care Specialist works in collaboration with our talented team of Customer Operations Specialists and Technical Specialists. This is the foundational level in our Customer Care Career path. We have a strong bias to internal promotion. We are all about personal development, we all rise together. Who you are:

  • You are fluent in English. If you’re also fluent in French that is a major bonus.
