  • Proactively identify and communicate relevant changes to card scheme rules and when needed liaise with the schemes to obtain additional interpretations
  • The responsibility to inform teams about (updated) card scheme rules and mandatory requirements in collaboration with the organization
  • The responsibility to oversee and report compliance against relevant standards
  • The possibility to identify new opportunities based on card scheme related changes ensuring maximal value for the customer and for Bambora
  • The possibility to act as a subject matter expert and consultant from your area and participate in finding solutions and best practices
  • The possibility to provide support and advise to Ingenico’s Acquiring strategy, including opportunities to expand supported licenses and/or schemes to do so
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with the relevant schemes as well as internally at Bambora and Ingenico
  • The possibility to represent Bambora in various card and payment related forums


  • You are analytical and enjoy collaborating with others driving results jointly in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • You want to be part of an international team supporting different business areas and multiple Ingenico companies
  • You can cooperate with colleagues with different nationalities in different locations
  • You are a strong communicator able to advice and influence organization wide, regardless of level in organization
  • You are decisive and taking the required decisions comes naturally to you
  • You want to identify possibilities to improve and drive business value in your area


  • You have multiple years of experience from the payments industry, preferably from a card acquiring business
  • You have experience with  interpreting and analyzing regulations, preferably card scheme rules
  • You are fluent in English
  • You have good knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
  • You are structured and have experience in project management


  • You have a track record of successfully driving compliance processes
  • You have experience in incident management
  • It’s is an advantage if you also have knowledge about other payments related regulations, e.g. PCI and PSDII
