Accountant - Payment Specialist

Are you an Accountant who enjoys working in a team, who gets motivated by a fast paced environment and within an international organization? We are now looking for an Accountant who will join the Finance team based in our head office in Stockholm.

We are looking for an accountant to integrate in our payment/acquiring team. The job includes handling daily payment data coming from our payment systems. It involves big volumes, Excel files and handling foreign currencies. This role is not a “traditional” accounting role- there is less bookkeeping and more transactional data handling.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Daily handling of transactional data and reconciliation of acquiring business
  • Participate and take on an active role in improvement and efficiency projects within finance
  • Participate in monthly and year-end closings

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Handy with Excel and IT tools in general
  • Strong analytical capabilities with an eye for details
  • Team player with good communication skills. You will work daily hand-in-hand with the rest of the team.
  • Loyal, structured and problem-solving oriented

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Academic degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Previous experience from a similar role
  • Excellent in Excel
  • Fluent written and oral skills in English

Meriting

  • Previous experience from high volume or transaction oriented business such as financial institutions or banks is meriting, preferably from an international and large scale organization
  • Previous experience from FX accounting. Maybe you worked in a treasury department before.
  • Previous experience from working in SAP
