Operations Specialist

JOB DESCRPITION & RESPONSIBILITIES  
As an Operations Specialist, you will get a unique opportunity to be part of the Acquiring Operations Support team, which plays an integral role in supporting Bambora’s customers/merchants and partners.  

 Responsibilities include:

  • Investigating more complex customer inquiries and issues
  • Producing data reporting, analyzing log files, trouble shooting and debugging
  • Working with supporting our systems and solutions
  • Actively improve our ways of working, enhance the efficiency and quality of the product in collaboration with multiple teams throughout the company
  • Be responsible for your own projects and seeing the delivery from end to end

  • You love solving problems and getting things done efficiently but also to go beyond the obvious to understand how it can be avoided or improved
  • You are flexible and thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment and are appreciated as a team player
  • Your technical skills together with your customer focus and business understanding will help you succeed in this role

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional problem solving, creative thinking, and analytical skills
  • Experience working with a technical product/environment
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and look for new problems to solve and new concepts to implement
  • Have a strong personal drive and initiative and enjoy a working in a fast paced, high pressure, client-focused environment
  • Good interpersonal skills and a strong communicative ability in English

MERITING

  • Knowledge querying language (SQL) is a plus
  • Previous experience from the payment industry or from working in a regulated business 
  • Interest in programming
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA
