Priority Account Manager, partner and sales

Do you want to take our industry-leading payment solutions to market during an exciting time of rapid growth? We are currently looking for an exceptional Priority Account Manager to join our Nordic team with Denmark as the home market. 

In your role as a Priority Account Manager, your overarching responsibility is to successfully drive new sales within our well-established Acquiring and PSP services to achieve sales and customer growth target. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities among prospective retailers in Denmark and the Nordics, promoting and selling Bambora payment solutions, and undertaking business development activities across a range of accounts. You will work actively together with some of Bambora’s most important customers, partners and prospect customers. You have a key role in ensuring that Bambora is delivering the most customer focused payment experience in the industry, so that we continue to be recognized as the leading payment provider in the market. In this role you will be reporting to Head of Strategic Partnerships.


  • Identify, hunt and generate new business opportunities
  • Ensure that new customers are implemented and integrated swiftly and effortless together with the Key Account Managers
  • Participate in upselling and developing Bambora’s business with existing customers
  • Become an expert in payments and actively drive thought leadership in payments
  • Understand competitor’s products in terms of positioning, features and account acquisition strategies


  • Entrepreneurial self-starter
  • Comfortable in a fast pace environment - handling multiple stakeholders, priorities and fast decision making
  • Skilled negotiator and strong communicator
  • Able to manage time-sensitive projects with little supervision
  • Passionate about the payment/fintech industry and eager to deepen your knowledge 
  • Willingness to travel


  • 5+ years of previous experience within sales, having closed deals, negotiated contracts, guided implementation and/or managed existing accounts
  • An excellent communicator in Danish and English
  • Bachelor’s degree


  • Previous experience from the payment industry and bank sector
  • Master’s Degree (MBA or MSc in a technical field)
