Product Marketing Manager - Maternity Leave Coverage

Bambora is on a mission to shape “the most customer focused payments experience”. Our Product Marketing Manager will craft and own our overall product story. You will have a deep understanding of our product line, know what makes our customers tick, and have a pulse on our competition. Please note, this position is a maternity leave coverage until early 2020.

What you will do

Working in a high-energy environment, you will be part of the Marketing team located in Victoria, BC. You will work closely with the Sales, Product, and Customer Experience teams to refine our messaging and commercialize our products.

More specifically, you will:

  • Continuously refine value propositions and messaging based on market trends, customer and sales feedback, and the competitive environment
  • Conduct and gather market intelligence to understand our customers. Speak with our customers to find out who they are, their buying criteria, and the when and why behind the decisions they make
  • Create and produce product campaigns to launch products and increase adoption
  • Conduct win/loss analysis on an ongoing basis

Who we are looking for

You’re brilliant in your own way because you’re ‘oddly human’.

At a minimum you have:

  • 3-5 years in B2B marketing
  • A history of being customer-focused and absolutely comfortable engaging customers

You are:

  • Obsessed with learning and have a growth mindset
  • A strong team player willing to collaborate with others and drive initiatives in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • A solid writer and storyteller
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced team environment but doesn’t miss the important details
  • Someone with an interest in payments and the FinTech world

Nice to have

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Payments or FinTech experience
  • Previous product experience
  • Bilingual French/English, an asset
