Financial Controller

Do you want to work in a fast growing company with global presence? Right now we need to expand our team and looking for a self-driven and ambitious Financial Controller. In this role you will experience a stimulating work environment where you will handle all aspects of business and financial controlling but with focus on the latter and monitoring of the Groups financial performance. 

You will be part of a team of five people with very ambitious development targets, where the work is conducted in close cooperation with the business units, and you will report directly to the Head of Business Controlling.

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES 

In general, the role requires:

  • Support the fast development of the company by driving and helping develop the analysis of the financial reporting in a way that mirrors the Group’s governance and business model
  • Drive process and prepare budgets, forecasts and business plans and monitor actual performance against targets with main focus on costs to enable robust reporting of variances to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify key non-financial metrics (KPIs), develop the systems and processes to capture the information and report on these, in the context of the transformation of the finance function of the Company
  • Support the Head of Business Controlling and the CFO in the preparation of ad hoc business and financial analyzes to ensure that performance is in line with the strategic objectives of the Group
  • Improve and upgrade the overall reporting process together with the rest of the team

In particular, your scope will be focusing over a number of key areas within Financial controlling:

  • Work close to the accounting team during monthly closings to support the accuracy and integrity of the reported financials (accruals, cut-off, costs and revenue completeness, others)
  • Monitor costs and identify room for savings and improvements within this area. This also includes preparing cost summary reports to both SMB Business Line leadership and broader Ingenico Group stakeholders
  • Prepare the monthly internal financial reports with accurate and relevant information for the local operational management team, and identify key trends and alerts underlying the financial performance of the business with focus on the costs

CHARACTERISTICS 

  • You have good financial and analytical skills and you are data driven, but you also think about how to best present information and deliver to the point key messages to the leadership
  • You are a fast learner who is eager to challenge yourself every day, in a techno environment
  • You enjoy a fast moving and highly dynamic setting, and you have the ability to participate and support fast decision making process
  • You are delivery-focused with a high degree of ownership
  • You are a team player with a positive, humble attitude, but you are also ambitious for yourself and the company you are working for

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University diploma or degree within finance, accounting business administration or similar
  • Excel is your best friend, you also have good skills in other MS Office applications
  • Ability to deal with large sets of data
  • Preferably 3 years of experience from a Transactions Services department in a Big Four environment or Finance advisory boutique
  • Solid written and verbal skills in Swedish and English

Meriting 

  • Previous experience of SAP and Cognos
