Business Development Manager - Acquiring Partnerships

Bambora is a rapidly expanding organization and leader in the Payments Industry. We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team at the Stockholm, Paris, London, Brussels or Amsterdam offices. 

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving sales within our well-established Acquiring partnerships segment to achieve sales and customer growth targets. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities among prospective payment partners throughout Europe, promoting and selling Bambora payment solutions, and undertaking business development activities across a range of accounts. In this role you will be reporting to the Head of Sales.

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate new leads and prospect for opportunities
  • Plan and set objectives for client meetings
  • Develop and maintain account plans in tandem with Head of Sales
  • Prepare written presentations and proposals
  • Understand competitor’s products in terms of positioning, features and account acquisition strategies
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of Bambora Products
  • Achieve required sales targets

 CHARACTERISTICS

  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who enjoys working in a team
  • Comfortable in a fast pace environment - handling multiple stakeholders, priorities and fast decision making
  • You are a skilled negotiator and strong communicator
  • Able to manage time-sensitive projects with little supervision
  • Passionate about the payment/fintech industry and eager to deepen your knowledge
  • Willingness to travel

QUALIFICATIONS

  • +3 years of previous experience within sales, having closed deals, negotiated contracts, guided implementation and/or managed existing accounts, preferably of a technical or financial Product
  • Previous experience from the payment industry and acquiring
  • An excellent communicator in English (Swedish or French meriting)
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Degree/MBA in a technical field meriting)
