PCI Compliance Agent

Bambora is a payment institution under the supervision of the Swedish FSA with a growing global presence. Our head office is in Stockholm, Sweden, but our work reaches people worldwide.

We are now expanding our PCI compliance team with a Payment Card Industry Compliance Agent, reporting to the PCI compliance manager. In the role as PCI compliance agent, you will be part of ensuring Bambora’s merchants' compliance according to the PCI DSS standards by performing the day to day activities and periodical reporting.


As a PCI compliance agent you will be responsible for the periodical reporting to card schemes according to their standards and tools for card industry security. You will analyze our customer portfolio and define the level of action and process needed for reporting at right time to right quality. Your main tasks include contacting customers to collect data, control data, keep our systems up to date as well as clean up and enhance the data. Further you will act as support to our customers in PCI related inquiries and subject matter expert in internal initiatives and ongoing business. You will be a central part of defining new as well as further improving existing ways of working and supporting tools, as well as establishing cross functional collaborations internally and externally.


  • You are comfortable and efficient with administrative tasks and systems
  • You are service minded and enjoy the customer dialogue
  • You have the ability to analyze how regulations and standards can be implemented in practice efficiently and effectively
  • You are eager to learn and find improvements to processes
  • You have a good business understanding as well as technical curiosity
  • You enjoy a dynamic and fast paced environment but most importantly, you have a great can do attitude!


  • Previous experience of payment industry or work with regulations in practice
  • Previous experience of administrative tasks
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English
  • Degree in business administration or similar
  • 2-3 years of working experience


  • Previous experience from customer service and PCI
