DevOps Engineer

Bambora is on a mission to shape 'the most customer focused payments experience'. Our DevOps Engineer’s role is to work with our close-knit IT team on production systems that run in on-premises and in cloud environments. You will actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, provide problem resolution and technical support.

Who we are looking for:

We need Bamborians who are analytical thinkers and problem solvers. You will work in a dynamic and agile environment in which we empower our teams to be curious, make decisions and be accountable to them. You believe that the route to speed and stability is through automation.

 You have:

  • A Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related field, and minimum 3 years experience
  • 2 years experience with AWS technologies
  • Thorough operating knowledge of networking protocols, routing, ACLs, and security
  • A solid grasp of programming and cloud based tools
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server (MS Windows Server 2012 and higher) automation including configuration automation, deployment automation
  • Knowledge of highly-available relational databases (most especially MSSQL, PostgreSQL), non-relational databases, message queuing technologies, web proxies and other systems used in modern SaaS businesses

Who we are:

We are proud to come together as innovators, service engineers, financial advisors, marketers, and digital masters. Bambora processes transactions in 65 markets and has over 700 employees in Europe, North America and Australia.

The payment market is rapidly changing, and Bambora is a part of that change. We are a payment company with global presence and a mission to simplify payments for small and midsized merchants whether that business is instore, online or in-app. In July 2017, we became part of Ingenico Group, one of the world's largest payment companies, which provides increased opportunities for us to simplify payments and help customers grow worldwide.

In North America we are globally-minded with a start-up atmosphere. You will experience this in your every-day life as a Bamborian.
