Teamlead Site Reliable Engineer

We are looking for a Teamlead Site Reliable Engineer that will be part of a team of Engineers within the Bambora Acquiring Technology organization. The team is responsible for internal operational focus area of the Acquiring Products. The approach is a highly automated, inspired of CI/CD/Infrastructure as Code and best practises on AWS. This role will lead the Reliability Engineering part of Acquiring and both define best practices, tools, processes such as escalation routines and external communication and lead the site reliable development that has more internal focus in comparison to business development. This role also create a base for capacity planning to support a growth strategy ad have main responsibility for external vendor contacts, intelligence to fully use the innovative possibilities given by cloud setup.

Key parts of Security Development and Operations will reside in this team. The team will also work on the lower fundamental development on AWS e.g network etc.

As Teamlead Site Reliable Engineer your main responsibilities will be:

  • Building and developing your organization
  • Making sure the whole system dev ops tool suite and culture work efficient
  • Lead the operational excellence with an automated first approach
  • Main contact for operations outsources or by own personnel
  • Keeping availability and security at a high standard
  • Remove roadblocks for your direct reports
  • Participate in improvements of processes and way-of-working for product and technology

We believe that the right candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge in CI/CD/Infrastructure as Code
  • Knowledge of Secure Development
  • Excellent knowledge in Agile Processes and Principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Quality built-in
  • Inspirational towards your surrounding
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to achieve results

It’s considered a merit if you have experience from the payment industry, payment industry compliance (PCI) and financial regulations. Even better if you also have good knowledge in JIRA & Confluence.
