Site Reliable Engineer

We are looking for a Site Reliable Engineer who together with others in a cross functional team will create products in alignment with company strategies. As a member you are expected to collaborate well with all other members defining and apply to team working agreements. A Site Reliable Engineer creates tools and elements supporting DevOps with design principles in mind, and use creativity to come up simple solutions that lasts, without compromising quality and security.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Take active part in delivering solutions to stakeholders (internal for majority of the tasks)
  • Make technical decision and estimates
  • Take part of breaking down tasks into small deliverable components
  • Actively and regularly test solutions both automated and manually
  • Embrace feedback oriented tools such as Continuous Integration and TDD
  • Strive towards simple solutions

We believe that the right candidate has the following qualifications:

  • M Sc or equivalent (e g. KY education)
  • Excellent knowledge in CI/CD/Infrastructure as Code
  • Good knowledge of Secure Development, Design Principles and Unit Testing
  • Python, AWS, Docker, Linux and script support, Git, CI/CD
  • Swedish and English, full working proficiency

It's considered a merit if you also have:

  • Experience from the payment industry
  • Experience from payment industry compliance (PCI) and financial regulations
  • Good knowledge in JIRA & Confluence
  • Knowledge with Kubernetes
  • Knowledge with open source communities
